Gastrinoma

Gastrinoma is a gastrin-secreting tumor that can derived from the Islet cells of the pancreas(30%), although it is most commonly found in the duodenum(60-70%). Hypersecretion of gastrin cause severe Peptic disease (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome). Gastrinomas are usualy Malignant (60-90%).
